Every city needs a great breakfast spot. Recently I relocated to Marina, where it seemed like there was no true breakfast place. Sure, Papa Chevo’s serves wonderful breakfast burritos, but I’m talking about a place where you can catch up with friends over eggs and bacon or read the paper while sipping coffee and munching on pancakes. But then I discovered Tico’s Breakfast & Lunch, a great breakfast spot that aspires to be more – and succeeds

Our conclusion is that the dishes that make Tico's worth revisiting are those you don't find on standard breakfast menus: apple fritters, homemade sausage, breakfast enchiladas, breakfast potato skins, Nova Scotia Benedict and a few other rarities.
